European Search Awards 2026 Winner for Best Use of Search: B2B SEO

On Wednesday, 20th May 2026, Growthack was awarded Best Use of Search – B2B SEO (Small) at the European Search Awards 2026, alongside SIS Pitches.

Back-to-Back European Search Awards Wins for Growthack

What makes this one stand out isn’t just the win itself. It’s the fact that we won the same category last year too, but with a completely different client.

Two very different B2B businesses. B2B SaaS with elementsuite (now acquired), and B2B manufacturing with SIS Pitches. Different industries, different commercial models, different challenges.

But our approach didn’t change.

Starting point: a high-risk migration

The SIS Pitches project began with a high-risk website migration. The kind where mistakes compound quickly, and the downside isn’t just a drop in rankings, but a direct hit to pipeline and revenue.

In B2B environments like this, search performance is tightly connected to commercial output. When visibility drops, lead flow follows. When structure breaks, so does conversion.

That meant the priority wasn’t growth first. It was stability, protection, and rebuilding the right foundations.

The approach: fundamentals first, then scale

We built a structured migration and growth process focused on three core areas: site structure, technical integrity, and search intent alignment.

This wasn’t about chasing quick wins. It was about ensuring the site could be properly understood by search engines, while also aligning with how real buyers search, compare, and convert.

Once that foundation was in place, we layered in a commercial strategy. That meant prioritising the pages, journeys, and queries that actually drive qualified leads, not just traffic.

The outcome: measurable commercial impact

The result was €2M+ in global growth, supported by a significant increase in lead generation and overall site performance post-migration.

More importantly, the site moved from being structurally vulnerable to commercially aligned. Search wasn’t just driving visibility, it was driving outcomes.

What the judges said

“Growthack navigated one of the most technically and strategically demanding scenarios in SEO. Rather than reacting to the complexity, the team structured a clear process, articulated exactly why their approach needed to evolve, and executed with the kind of all-rounded discipline that such high-stakes projects demand.”

What this actually means

Back-to-back wins are great. But that’s not really the point.

The more important signal is consistency. The ability to take the same core approach and apply it across different industries, different websites, and different commercial contexts.

The fundamentals don’t change. Get the structure right. Maintain technical integrity. Align to intent. Then connect everything back to revenue.

It’s not about doing anything flashy. It’s about doing the difficult things properly, and doing them consistently over time.
